My feet are cold year round and I have been wearing merino socks, almost exclusively, for decades. I decided to give the Pacas a try and see if they are better or not. Merinos are warm and cozy and the Pacas are warm and cozy as well. I really couldn't tell the difference so I decided to do an experiment and wore Pacas on my left foot and merinos on my right for an entire day. They are very close but Pacas are a tad bit cozier.

I never thought I’d replace my smartwool socks- but PACAS wins. Super-super- super soft and warm. Haven’t tried the lightweight yet- that’s next. The fit is perfect- not tight on my thicker calf and yet they stay up. I think too much cardboard and promo paper and packaging waste- would rather pay less for socks than more for paper.

I ordered two as a gifts and one pair for myself. SO soft and warm! But don't make my feet sweat. The taller heel back is extra comfy and helps them stay in place. They accidentally shipped me one small and two medium pair initially - I wear size 8 shoes and the small was a little too snug. Customer service has been helpful in getting me a third pair of the correct size. Recommend!

I NEVER wore socks, even in the winter. This winter my husband was discouraged and asked me just to try wearing them during the extreme cold weather. I reluctantly ordered Pacas because I knew that I loved alpaca material. Wow, was I pleasantly surprised! They are not only super comfortable, they are also warm and feel great. I then put in an order for 10 plus more pairs for both winter and summer. Two nights ago when the temperature dipped down into single digits my husband complained his feet were cold even though he had socks on and decided to put shoes on. I gave him a pair of my Pacas and lost them permanently to him. Yesterday, he placed an order for many socks of his own. So.....I now love wearing socks and he loves wearing the Pacas!

I bought both the women’s crew and low cut socks for my daughter. She mentioned that she needed new warm socks. I thought the Pacas would be a fun gift. Unfortunately, the purchase was sent to me rather than to her address. I wanted to try them out so I decided to keep one of the pairs of crew socks for myself before I mailed the package to her. I typically wear Smartwool socks all winter. Upon putting them on I immediately realized my feet were in heaven. They are warm, soft, and cozy., just as described in the Pacas’ advertising. I haven’t had them long enough to know how they wash or how long they wear but they are nice and warm and soft. In particular they’re warm for their thickness (I got the light weight ones and also the heavier ones). The colours are as advertised and the tops stay put.
