Quickly ordered 18 pairs more for him, after he exclaimed that these were the best socks ever, his feet were so comfortable, and stayed warm and dry all day. This man never spends money on unnecessary items, so for him to agree to a large order of these socks speaks volumes. I have been looking for these kind of socks for a long time to replace a pair of Smart Wool ones I could never find again (they never produced that light/mid weight sock again). Gave these a try and they are even better. Softer, more comfortable, and the perfect weight! Not the typical thick wool sock that's too thick to wear because they make your shoes tighter. I thought I couldn't continue the hike, but the water drained right away and my feet were warming up as we walked. Also these don't get heavy or uncomfortable like wool does. Paca socks are an amazing find for me. I have a neuropathy in my feet that can wake me up when I turn while sleeping.. paca socks cradle my feet and keep this from happening. Welp, I am sold. I am a floor nurse which means 13-14 hours on my feet. I am also 54 so I have OLD feet. I am kinda blown away at the level of comfort and "snugness" these provide and while pricey, I get it -- worth the slight investment for us feet-workers. Well done PACAS. HIGHLY recommend.
