I am a sock snob and allergic to wool. I have to have plain colored thin socks with NO wool, and for years I bought a brand that was plain colored, thin and cotton. My husband LOVES socks, so I tried all kinds for gifts, even very pricey ones. One year he bought himself PACAs and a few for me in plain black. I was skeptical because of my allergy, but tried them on. I haven't worn anything else since! Donated all my others.
