The material is soft and comfortable. The foot of the socks where plush/ cushioned but they didn't cause my feet to sweat or get too warm. The compression was AMAZING. I work on my feet 8+ hours a day..no achy feet or legs with these on. I felt absolutely great at the end of my shift.
