I am a big fan of Paca crew socks, I wear them all day every day and have a ridiculous number of pairs (or a completely reasonable few dozen. Depends who you're asking). I purchased a three pack of low cut socks to try and lent my sister a pair. She has diabetic neuropathy and problem skin on her heels. After wearing these socks for a few weeks, the skin on her heels had softened and has now started to heal. The neuropathy is still a problem, but healthier skin makes certain complications less likely. Her podiatrist was very impressed by the improvement and told her to keep wearing these. He even said he would recommend them to other patients! We've since purchased several more pairs. I knew that these were soft and warm (being a knitter I am familiar with the properties of alpaca fiber), but this was an unlooked for benefit that could quite literally save someone's feet. I have been looking for socks to wear with my running shoes and I found them. They are super soft and cushion on the bottom. They come in cute colors too.

Pacas are my favorite socks! Every year I order them for myself as well as Christmas gifts for family. They are so soft, cushiony, and feel like they are hugging my feet.
